The Changed Form of words-Maruuvified words.

There are a lot of words that have changed in pronunciation.....

Let me give a list of those words....

The word Geep:

Actually the Vehicle was called as 'GP' that is General Purpose. Later it has changed its form and called as Jeep. At the time of II World War, this vehicle was used for all the general purposes. So it was named like that. But some people disagree with this explanation.

Many names of villages have changed their form and without knowing the actual meaning we are using.

1. Chengalpet- This word was originated from the tamil word "Sengazhineer Poompattu"

2. Tambaram - This word was originated from the word "Tamburamana Gunaseela Nallur". Researchers say that tambaram and its adjoining areas were flouring urban centers even some millennium ago

3. Triplicane- Thiru + Alli + Keni- The meaning for this word is a Lilly pond

4. Coimbatore- KovanPuthur. This was ruled by a King named "Kovan". So KovanPuthur maruvified as coimbatore

Apart from these words some nick names of my friends are also maruvified words which are already given by mahesh
