X-ray Technician school

An xray technician uses radiography to capture images of various parts of the body in order for a physician to diagnose and treat broken bones, disease or other health problems. An x-ray technician explains the process of taking radiographic images to the patient and operates the X ray machine. An xray technician must also be well versed in the safe use of radioactive materials because Xray machines use radioactivity to capture images. An x ray technician follows strict safety guidelines to protect themselves and the patient from the equipment.
